I am a representational artist focusing on light, value and color .The possibilities to interpret and create are endless to me as I constantly try new ways of expressing myself through my work in figurative, still life and plein air painting. Studying at The American Academy of Art and Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts, both in Chicago, has provided foundation and growth that are reflective in my work. The process of developing my eye to see, observe and compare the masses and small nuances continue to excite and fulfill me as I see the world anew each time I paint. I am very grateful to have art in my life.
